Carburettor linkage

The split carburettor and manifold was developed over a period of time to provide a two choke system which gives torque and power comparable with a twin 45 set up.

The original alloy split carburettor set up for the Pinto rally engine, with carburettors cut to produce a twin side draught format to suit road rally regs. This set up is best used with a one piece air filter or an air box to keep throttle balance correct. The linkage will take twin cables and has all the required return springs and is totally reliable.
